Floral prints have been all the rage this season, so it’s inevitable that they be found in all colors, styles, and shapes. For summer, give your floral pants a rest and say “hello!” to your new best friend, floral short shorts!  Take a peek at the celebs who are absolutely killing this trend!

Rosie Huntington-Whitely looked stellar in her Christopher Kane for J Brand flower-embellished denim cut-offs at Coachella.  Ciara loves her floral cut-offs too. In Beverly Hills, she showed off her amazing stems in high-waisted Citizens of Humanity floral shorts.  Rihanna was recently spotted in NYC while sporting a pair of high-waisted, multicolored Topshop floral shorts (…only $68! gasp!).  And, Emma Roberts partied at Coachella in her earthy-toned Citizens of Humanity low-rise floral short shorts.

Summertime can make us sweat (literally) over the thought of finding an outfit to wear on a super steamy day, but not to fret!  All you really need to do is throw on a pair of these floral hotpants and match them up with a simple top: basic tee or tank for a casual look, or a blouse for an evening/dressier ensemble (i.e. Shenae Grimes who looked super flirty at a Nylon Magazine party last summer).

THIS STYLE ISN’T A STRANGER TO MY CLOSET, BUT I JUST NOW REALLY BEGAN TO EMBRACE IT. These dresses which are shorter in the front and longer in the back are sure to turn heads anywhere.

I’ve always been one to shy away from wearing longer dresses because I’ve felt too short to pull them off, but this new look really complements my small stature. With the shorter hemline in the front, there’s no danger of me eating pavement in an attempt to walk in skyscraper heels — a pair of flats will easily suffice.

Along with their unique hemline, these dresses are also very versatile. For a simple day outing you can match them with a cute pair of flats or summer sandals, and maybe add a jeans-vest to the look. However, they can also be worn on fancier occasions with a pair of heels and a statement clutch. If you’re a belt fanatic, you can get good use out of those skinny belts as well.
An extension of the High-Low dress is the High-Low skirt, and those are also a trend to watch for this summer. With the High-Low skirt, fashionistas can get a bit more creative with their looks by playing around with different tops: halters, bandeaus, tube tops and blouses are just a few. There really is no limit with what you can do with this look.

This summer, drop those mini skirts and add something with a bit more moxie to your closet!

If you’re one of those people who believe that neon are colors that only belong to glow-in-the-dark stickers and bubble gum, then you might find the neon fashion trend quite overwhelming at first. However, neon fashion colors may just be the thing you need to add a bit of excitement to your wardrobe of monochromatic and neutral-colored clothes. Bright colors are all the rage for spring and summer seasons.

The good news is that you don’t have to be a style expert to get with this trend. Here are some tips to help you follow the neon style trend without going overboard:

Start With a Single Neon Item
The best way to start experimenting with the neon look is to choose a single neon item to add to your look. This could be a pair of neon green sandals, a neon pink leather jacket or a bright yellow messenger bag. In fact, most celebrities are getting with the neon trend by focusing on a single piece.

Try Neon Accesories
Wearing neon accessories is another great way to ease yourself into the neon fashion trend. There is now a wide range of neon-colored accessories that you can choose from. For instance, spice up a dark corporate outfit with a fun neon necklace. Going out for the evening? Give that little black dress a touch of color by donning a chunky neon bracelet. Even adding a neon ring or a neon handbag to your everyday casual outfits can make a huge impact.

Pair Neons With Neutrals
Pairing neons with neutrals is another sure-fire way to get with the neon trend. Combining neon and neutral pieces in one outfit creates a sense of balance and makes the brighter piece stand out more effectively. Camel shades also complement neon colors so try experimenting with this combination on your next outfit!
